    Notes 
    • Gerryken en Berend zijn pas getrouwd na de geboorte van hun oudste kinderen. Dat dit inderdaad ook kinderen van Gerryken Bessink zijn, blijkt uit het feit dat er Bessinks als doopgetuigen optreden.

      Na de dood van Gerryken is Berend hertrouwd. Op 20 augustus 1693 ging hij te Winterswijk in ondertrouw met Gertrut Beerninck, dochter van Sondag Beerninck. Zie kwartiernr. 1032. Zij werd op 8 maart 1671 gedoopt. Gertrut en Berend kregen samen nog twee kinderen:
      1. Gerrijtken Geurekinck, ged. te Winterswijk op 10 augustus 1694. Doopgetuigen: Hindersken Beerninck, Metta Cousinck, Hendrick Bessinck.
      2. Berent Geurkinck, ged. te Winterswijk op 1 augustus 1696. Doopgetuigen: Lammert Beerninck, Hendrick te Beuckenharst, Stijnken Woordes.

      Dochter Geertjen gaat op 26 juni 1707 te Winterswijk in ondertrouw met Harmen Kressers, zoon van Hendrik Kressers en Hendersken te Nienhuis. Zie kwartiernr. 1048 x 1049.
